About Our Family

Rick and Laura are original home owners here in Steelechase, moving in just after their wedding in September of 1995. Their family includes a spoiled rotten minature American Eskimo Spitz.

About Rick

Rick works for Charlotte's Finest Produce. He is a native Charlottean...grew up on the ''west side'', graduated from West-Meck High and attended UNC Chapel Hill.

In his spare time Rick is the lead singer for the local cover-band Evensteven. (You may have heard him sing with Dave Morgan at the first Steelchase Fall Block Party.) Watch Creative Loafing for when and where they will be playing next!

Rick's other passion is UNC Chapel Hill basketball...he bleeds Carolina Blue...a true blue Tarheel Basketball Fan!

About Laura

Laura is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker United. She graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. (GO Cats!) She is currently working with a group of WCU alumni living in the Charlotte area to jump-start a WCU Club. In her spare time, Laura enjoys making mosaics and flower gardening (when the weather is warm!).
